The Watsons Himtayan Club Influencer Campaign has been recognized with the prestigious "Best Use of Influencer Marketing under PR Programs" award at the 59th Anvil Awards. It is a testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone involved, and we are grateful to Watsons for allowing us to be part of this incredible journey! Let us take a moment to dive into the story behind this project. It all started when a regular guy’s experience waiting outside a Watsons store went viral on social media. This presented an opportunity for Watsons Philippines to position themselves as the go-to destination for men's grooming essentials too.
Enter the Himtayan Club - an out-of-the-box event launched on Father's Day, June 18, 2023, at Watsons The Block SM North Edsa. The event not only showcased a wide range of men's products but also served as a heartfelt tribute to fathers on their special day. The concept of 'HIMtayan' was inspired by the Filipino word 'Hintayan' (waiting), encapsulating the essence of the viral idea.
To amplify the campaign's reach, we engaged a diverse lineup of influencers who resonated with our target audience. This approach ensured that our message reached a wide spectrum of individuals, from fathers to the younger generation.
